Today Homage celebrates the 1931 birth of former 49ers and Stanford coach Bill Walsh, whose West Coast offense stretched defenses and won three Super Bowls. The NFL’s Coach of the Year in ’81 and ’84 went 102-63-1 in ten NFL seasons.
